If your answer is yes, we invite you to join our vibrant team at Accents Music Learning Centre as a part-time piano and voice teacher starting September 2024.

We are looking for teachers seeking a long-term, part-time role, as a piano or voice teacher with time off during the Summer, March Break and Christmas Break


ABOUT THE JOB AND THE HOURS:

Job Type: Part time - with potential for more hours

Hours: Typical shifts are Monday to Friday from 3:30pm to 8:30pm

Flexible Schedule: Potential for Saturday shifts if the teacher/students are looking for this

Seasonal Breaks: Enjoy time off during Christmas, March Break, and summer.

Inspire the Next Generation: Impart your musical expertise to students of varying ages and abilities.

Supplement Your Income: Teach during afternoons, evenings, or weekends to earn extra money.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Undergraduate degree in Music, specializing in Voice or Piano, or equivalent music training program; relevant music experience is essential.

Experience: Prior teaching experience is beneficial.

Examination Preparation: Familiarity with Practical and Theory Examination preparation is an advantage.


BONUS EXPERIENCE TO HAVE:

Music Festivals: Experience in preparing students for Music Festivals is a plus.

Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with computer technology and programs such as Skype and Google Drive.

Adaptability: Willingness to learn new programs and processes.

Organizational Skills: Organized and punctual.

Communication Excellence: Possesses excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Able to address and solve problems effectively.

Additional Instruments: Knowledge of other instruments is beneficial.

JOB DETAILS:

Type: Part-time, Freelance

Compensation: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Hours: 8 - 20 hours per week
